
VICTORIA TOMCZAK HARVEY

Licensed Psychologist
Victoria Harvey is a psychologist licensed in the state of Texas. She attended graduate school at the University of Alabama as a member of the Psychology and Law track, where she received specialized training in the areas of forensic assessment and corrections. She completed her predoctoral internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, with rotations in forensic assessment and substance abuse assessment and treatment. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama in 2010. She also obtained a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama in 2008. Following graduation, Dr. Harvey completed a postdoctoral fellowship in substance abuse assessment and treatment at the Dallas VA Medical Center. She worked at the Dallas VA as one of two inpatient psychologists until 2015 and then worked one year conducting diagnostic assessments and brief therapy as part of the Primary Care and Mental Health Integration Team. After leaving the VA in 2016, Dr. Harvey began working in private practice with a focus on psychological services within a forensic context.
Dr. Harvey currently conducts forensic evaluation primarily within the context of Family Court litigation, including child custody evaluations and forensic psychological evaluations. She strives to make her evaluations thorough, timely, and cost-effective. Dr. Harvey also provides psychotherapy for adults and adolescents as young as 13 years of age.
