Ann Simons is a licensed professional counselor practicing in Dallas since 1991. Specializing in individual adult psychotherapy, Ann provides therapeutic treatment for the managing and overcoming of depression, anxiety, physical abuse, sexual abuse/incest, post-traumatic stress disorder, post-abortive syndrome, emotional eating, codependent relationships and grief. In her work, Ann offers Catholics and other Christians an environment in which their faith is respected, supported, and implemented in the therapeutic process.

Ann graduated from Baylor University in 1981 with a bachelor of science in education and earned her master of arts in counseling in 1987 from Denver Seminary. In 1991 she was licensed as a professional counselor. That year Ann also completed a two-year training program for certification in Object Relations Theory and Therapy at the Washington School of Psychiatry in Washington, D.C. Ann served from 2003-2010 as a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies’ Southwest Regional Board and currently maintains membership in the Catholic Psychotherapy Association.
